Please help my campaign

What I believe and want to do...

I will propose a Patient’s Bill of Rights to ensure all North Dakotans are treated fairly by insurance, clinics, and hospitals.  When people are sick they should focus on getting better, not on how their medical bills will be paid. 

I will put forth a plan to keep young people in North Dakota by utilizing the current budget surplus and the record Bank of North Dakota profits.  My plan will offer tax incentives and/or college loan reductions/forgiveness.  This will have the added benefit of reducing workforce shortages.

North Dakota is a green energy corridor and our state buildings can run on cleaner energy.  Both wind and solar power resources would help reduce our dependence on fossil fuels.  These technologies typically pay for themselves within a few years, and will save taxpayers money in the long-term.

Workforce Safety and Insurance should be brought back under the governor’s jurisdiction like every other state agency.  WSI’s purpose is to serve injured workers.  This focus needs to be regained by cleaning up the management team so its employees don’t have to work in fear of retribution.
